Wajed is well known locally as a multi-talented artist expressing his talents through the creation of jewelry, spoken word, music, and educational activities. Wajed has said of his artistic ambition that his “inspiration is to actually BE an inspiration. I want to be an inspiration to others through my thoughts, words and actions.” Wajed’s unyielding positivity and generous spirit result in a visionary practice that is the culmination of committed and sensitive observation of the world. This provides Wajed with purpose larger than himself; one which he shares generously to inspire those around him to “get real for real results.”

Open Tuesday through Saturday the General George Patton Museum and Center of Leadership is an interesting place to spend a couple of hours. We visited last January, when it was too cold and nasty to do anything else, but it turned out to be a very enjoyable afternoon. If you can move at a leisurely pace, there is quite a bit of reading in the first few rooms, mainly focusing on leadership in the Army during war-time. If you are traveling with, say, a toddler, there are tanks, the 9/11 Pentagon Fire Truck and a very cool Patton Museum app for iPhone and Android that shows archival video and additional you are a scout leader or your child’s leader is looking for opportunities, the museum offers a 60-90 minute guided tour, which includes interactive exhibits like testing your leadership qualities. The museum is free although donations are always accepted. Afterwards, burn off some energy at the Keyes playground next door.

PM Mignini: It was shown, because you said… I need to put in the record what happened. The lawyer… Facing my warrant which I described, the notice was provided at the beginning of the interrogation as the code requires. She said “I want to answer, I do not intend to invoke my right not to answer”. That answer had been given already, I informed her, and she answered. Now to this, at this point, however, I said nothing prevents her from wanting, from declaring “at this point I do not intend to answer any more”. I put it in the record and I don’t ask why, at that point, at that point.
