On October 6th 2016 Wasim Zahid, MD defended his thesis at Institute of Clinical Medicine at Faculty of Medicine University of Oslo. The topic was " Myocardial function by echocardiography for risk stratification in patients with heart disease ". The trial lecture topic was " The prognostic and diagnostic value of troponins in acute and stable coronary heart disease ".
